Thyroid Ultrasound
Introduction
Thyroid ultrasound is the gold standard imaging technique for evaluating thyroid health. This painless 15-minute scan examines your thyroid gland’s size, shape, structure, and detects any nodules, cysts, or abnormalities. The scan also assesses surrounding neck lymph nodes.
Common reasons include a palpable neck lump, abnormal thyroid function blood tests, family history of thyroid disease, or monitoring known thyroid conditions. Our expert radiologists provide detailed measurements and risk assessment of any nodules found.
We use advanced high-resolution ultrasound technology for precise imaging and characterization. Perfect for residents of Brentwood, Chelmsford, and surrounding Essex areas.
