Abdominal ultrasound is a safe, painless diagnostic scan examining your upper abdomen organs using high-frequency sound waves. Our expert radiologists can detect gallstones, kidney stones, liver disease, pancreatic conditions, and other abdominal abnormalities.

Common reasons for this scan include unexplained abdominal pain, bloating, digestive issues, or abnormal blood test results. The examination typically takes 20-30 minutes, and you’ll receive a detailed report with images.

Symptoms Requiring This Scan:

• Persistent upper abdominal pain or discomfort

Preparation:

• Nothing to eat or drink for 6 hours before scan
• Take regular medications with small sips of water
• Inform us of any previous abdominal surgery
• Bring referral letter if you have one
