About Dr Elsayad
I am a consultant radiologist working at BHR University Hospitals in East London, UK. I have a special interest in musculoskeletal and pelvic imaging, including Gynaecological, Prostatic and Rectal imaging. I also developed microbubble liver contrast ultrasound in the trust.

I completed my radiology training at Sheffield Teaching Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. I then completed a combined year of musculoskeletal fellowship at both the NOC in Oxford and in RNOH in Stanmore.
I have an excellent experience in musculoskeletal imaging including Plain xray, ultrasound (US), computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). I have developed a special experience and musculoskeletal interventional radiology, including radiology guided injections and biopsies. I have a special interest in sports injury.

I have established and lead on introducing microbubble contrast ultrasound service in characterising liver lesions within BHR University Hospitals. I am now working on exploring the utilisation of this very useful modality in musculoskeletal and urology imaging.
I have also developed very good experience in other diagnostic modalities, such as ultrasound, CT and MRI, becoming a core member of the Musculoskeletal, Gynaecology, Urology and Colorectal multi-disciplinary meeting.

I am privileged to be working within the NHS and am very proud of the great service that we are able to provide to our valued patients. I am passionate about my role within the NHS and with other private providers, working with my excellent team to provide high quality services and deliver the best possible care to our community.
I have lead the radiology department for 2 years, where I have actively involved all staff members to help me to develop the service we provide in the radiology department to our valued patients. After my hard work for 2 years, our service was described by the CQC as a safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-lead service.
I am also working with multiple private providers aiming at improving patient care. I am a BUPA assured provider.
